Head of HR
Rachel joined Family Lives as a HR Advisor in 2009 having previously worked in both the public and private sectors, in a variety of organisations including National Air Traffic Services and Expotel Hotel Reservations. Rachel is a fully qualified Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) member and leads a team of two within HR who manage all HR functions. As Head of HR, Rachel oversees all elements of recruitment, redundancy, performance management and absence. She also provides guidance and support on all other staffing issues. Rachel chairs or co-chairs a number of groups including Diversity, Equality and Inclusion and Workforce Development. She also oversees the Services Delivery Support Team, who provide administrative support across the organisation. In her spare time Rachel enjoys baking (though she is not good enough to enter the Great British Bake Off yet!) and enjoys outdoors adventures with her family.
